I CONFESS! I CONFESS! I ATE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE THIS PAST WEEKEND.
Once I started the downhill turn,
I couldn’t seem to stop.
I don’t know what got into
me. Ok, ok yes I do. I was in the store hungry and the peanut
butter Twix in the bright red package kept calling my name. “Nancy, Nancy, where have you been? It’s been
so long since I’ve seen you.” I gave in, bought it and devoured it.
Why did I do this you ask? It’s because I did not eat a balanced meal in the morning and was craving for anything quick and convenient to satisfy me. I was in a hurry and didn’t have a backup plan.

For this very reason, it’s good
to always have a meal plan and keep a stash of quick convenient healthy snacks as a backup for those on the go times
when you don’t have time to sit down for a meal. A handful of nuts, fruit, carrots and celery,
Greek yogurt or a smoothie are just some examples of healthy snacks.
There is no quick fix to being
healthy; it’s a lifestyle.
